A Note on This Beer
The folks down at Haw River call today’s brew their “favorite coffee Cream Stout recipe.”
Which is impressive, because they sure do love big ‘n bold, lactose-loaded Stouts — plus, nearly all of them have 4+ stars on Untappd.
One sip of today’s cake-like Javacherry Coffee Cream Stout, and we find ourselves nodding along with Facebook user @Ed Uhler who declares “[Haw River’s] Java keeps getting better and better!”
Infused with over 500 pounds of sweet dark cherries, roasted cocoa nibs, AND Belgian dark chocolate, then finished with a bright, cherry skin-forward Ethiopian coffee, this brew proves Haw River really is at the top of their game. It sips down so smoothly it's like a liquefied Black Forest cake in a can!
You’ll want to stock up on at least a few cans of this mocha-filled sipper, ‘cause the only way to get it outside of North Carolina is right here, right now. AND it’s going to be at least a year before Haw River brews it again!
