About This Beer
For Jazz Witch, the Wayfinder crew loaded their bubbling cauldrons with an adjunct Lager malt bill and fermented it warm with Lager yeast for a dry, clean canvas for the hops. Then they dry hopped the potion with nectarous New Zealand Hops for bright, tropical pops that bebop on the palate.
Tasting Notes
Each wickedly crisp sip conjures the luscious hop intensity of an IPA mixed with the easy drinkability of a Lager. Juicy pineapple tones bleed into refreshing pine with every spellbinding swig. Swirls of citrusy nuance — lemongrass, mandarin, and orange peel — lead into crackly baguette notes before a snappy finish that’ll leave you bewitched.

Bright and lemony up front, dry notes of lemongrass, orangepeel and grapefruit bitterness creep in as it settles, fading to a crisp malt that lingers bready and citrus.

One of the better IPAs I have had.. and thanks for the great intro into the cold IPA category btw. I will definitely be back for this or more like it!

Never even heard of a “Cold IPA “ until now. Pretty tame, clean IPA aroma with lots of visual clarity. Has a more direct, sharp hoppiness that hits fast and fades away quickly and cleanly. Interesting for sure.

Lightly hazed floral citrusy funky hop aroma and flavor. Cold IPA or IPL ?!? Can’t figure out the difference (yet) but good either way. Had a few Wayfinder beers recently thanks to Tavour. Good stuff.

Absolutely amazing beer. So balanced but faceted and nimble. Every sip was a suprise. Would huy a lot if I could.

Crisp, refreshing, not overly hoppy. Good pine nose. Bitter slightly malty finish.

Great tasting beer I don’t know what a cold IPA is but it was very good and I love the color of it. The percentage was low but it had a great rich taste

Very cool creation here! I like the lager malt bill in this. It still has the pop of a more traditional IPA, but also more smooth drinkability of a lager.

Lemon zest & mango in aroma along w/light earthiness and grassiness. Berries, grapefruit rind, & pineapple up front in taste followed by a mild piney dankness.
