A Note on This Beer
When Pearle B. Wait invented the gelatin dessert in 1897, he first tried selling it door to door.
It didn’t work.
Which is not particularly surprising — if someone showed up on my porch peddling jiggly desserts, I wouldn’t even open the door. If, on the other hand, they were offering today’s 4.34 rated Jell-OH! Imperial IPA, I’d snatch up every single can before any of my neighbors got a shot at it.
To make it, the brewers at Maryland’s Cushwa took their most beloved single IPA, and loaded it with even more tropical Galaxy and citrusy Simcoe Hops!
If you did sell it door to door, people would take one whiff and mistake it for some kind of exotic juice blend, overflowing with freshly squeezed OJ, tangy tangerine, and drippy mango flavors.
But, this isn’t just juice. All those fruity notes are beautifully balanced by a resinous pop of pithy pine on the finish, with a slight lingering bitterness that’s IPA all the way!
Fans are calling it “tropical and super smooth,” and “another great beer from Cushwa!”
Outside of a few east coast states, you won’t find a drop anywhere. If your beer fridge is full, you might want to make some space for this one. After all, there’s always room for Jell-OH!
