Today’s beer is called the Johnny Karate Super Awesome Musical Explosion Show, and that’s exactly what it tastes like.

Johnny Karate? You better believe it! With its 10.8% ABV, this Triple IPA has some serious KICK! But don’t worry, you’ll barely detect a hint of that booze because it's wrapped in a sumptuously soft body. Like a real Karate Master, it’s powerful, but oh-so smooth.

Super Awesome? Fans sure think so! This brew comes with an impressive 4.25 Untappd score. Plus, this is the first time it’s ever been available outside of Texas, and the taproom is already sold out, which means Tavour is the only place to score a can. Musical Explosion? Yeah — for your tastebuds! The crew at Turning Point used over 5 lbs per barrel of Citra, Azacca, Hallertau Blanc, and El Dorado Hops for rockin’ flavors of candied orange, drippy mango, and ripe pineapple. 

The brewers say it’s like “pina colada meets creamsicle,” which we think is spot on.

If all that isn’t enough for you, this is also our very first beer from Turning Point — the brewery Thrillist called “a force to be reckoned with in Texas.”
