Only once every 10 years, Deschutes releases a barrel aged special edition of their celebrated Jubel – or at least that was the plan. The first Jubel was created such excitement Deschutes' couldn't wait a full ten years to release it again. 5 years early, this Strong Ale uses Pinot Noir and new Oregon Oak barrels to capture spicy, vinous notes and raw wood flavors. Deschutes devotees anxiously await this beer but it’s produced in such limited quantities, only a privileged few get to try it.

Settle in to enjoy this decadent dive into roasted malts, chocolate dipped figs and caramel toast laced with the distinct warm spice of Pinot Noir. Rustic notes of naked oak, dark berry fruit and bittering hops layer the palate in a brilliant zenith before bringing this Jubel vintage to a resplendent close.

Remember to sip slow – five years is an awfully long time to wait for a second serving.
