A Note on This Beer
In 2018, The Great American Beer Festival finally added a “Juicy/Hazy” category to the competition, and Omaha’s Kros Strain won the first ever Silver medal!
That’s right — it wasn’t some powerhouse from Massachusetts or California that every craft fan has heard of; it was a tiny, under-the-radar brewery from Nebraska!
These guys have blown up since taking home that hazy prize — Thrillist now ranks them alongside masters like Other Half, Sierra Nevada, and Treehouse as one of the Best Breweries in America!
And, with a stash of Juice and Desist, you’ll see just why Kros Strain’s haze game demands such high acclaim.
The award-winning brewers craft this delectable hop nectar with a tropical combo of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra Hops, so it bursts with aromas of tangy pineapple and ripe cantaloupe. Juicy layers of mango, apricot, and lemon zest swirl around hints of strawberry and resinous pine, while the velvety mouthfeel completely coats the towering (almost Triple IPA-status) 9.4% ABV.
For craft fans like @Erik P. on Untappd who “can’t get enough of this fragrant foam,” Juice and Desist is the Nebraska NEIPA that’s simply a “must try, y’all!”
