About This Beer
To craft it, the multiple GABF medal-winning brewers at Hardywood Park started with their fan-adored ginger, cinnamon, vanilla bean, honey, and lactose-laced Gingerbread Imperial Stout. Then they took the beer to the next level of opulence by aging it in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels with locally-roasted Guatemalan and Colombian coffee beans.

Harmonious flavors in an outstanding Christmas stout. Perhaps just a tad thin mouthfeel. Maybe next time, they'll condition this holiday stout on roasted chestnuts. 🙄

Love this one. Amazingly balanced considering the multitude of flavors in there. Reminds me of a Christmas Bomb from Prairie Artisan Ales.
