If you hear the distant rumbling of horse hooves this week, it’s because every rootin’ tootin’ sour-sippin’ fruit fiend from sea to shining sea is saddled up and headed for Dallas Fort-Worth. 

And today’s Key Lime Slushy from the fruit-brew buckaroos at 903 is what’s wrangling them in!

Crafty cowboys down in The Lone Star State love the Slushy series so much, 903 is actually throwing their first-ever Slushy Fest at the end of October. But unless you’re headed down to join the fun, the only place to find this newest edition is right here. 

The last three versions of Slushy we managed to get our mitts on are all rated 4+ on Tavour! So I’m guessing a lot of you cowpokes are lookin’ to wrangle a stash.

And boy howdy, today’s version is somethin’ else. 

To create this Key Lime pie-in-a-can, the brewers loaded up their Gose base with real Key Lime, creamy vanilla, piles of fluffy marshmallows, and heaps of actual graham crackers to recreate a biscuity crust. Take a sip, and you’ll wind up sounding like @Dan Y. on Untappd:

“This one really surprised me! You can truly taste each component.”

In other words, this is the closest you’ll come to drinking a liquid pie. And it’s even better than the real thing because it comes with an all-day crushable 4.5% ABV! 

Grab a few cans, call over a herd of buddies for a hootenanny, and you can have yourself a slushy fest without making that long ride down to the Big-D. Which is actually Dallas’ nickname. 

And that’s pretty funny, but it’s time to stop giggling and grab some Slushy before our little stash runs out.
