About This Beer
This hybrid style — brewed and conditioned at colder temperatures like a Lager, but utilizing Ale yeasts — has been quenching thirsts for centuries! And if it can satisfy a 19th century farmer after a long day toiling in the fields, just imagine what it can do for you after mowing the lawn.
The crew at Wayfinder (who Craft Beer & Brewing once called ‘a Lager geek’s dream’) know a few things about cold-conditioned brews. So it should come as no surprise that their Kolsch is as crisp, clean, and refreshing as anything you’d find in Cologne.
Tasting Notes
The brewers call it a “patio slayer” and we can’t disagree. With a slightly spicy, gently floral Noble Hop finish and all the drinkability you could ask for, cracking open a few cans on a sunny patio sounds positively heavenly.
