When Salt Lake City was hit with a massive 5.7 magnitude earthquake last year, it didn’t stop Shades Brewing from creating some seismic activity of their own!

In fact, it inspired them to release Kviek Earthquake Aftershock Strawberry Banana the week after, proving that not even natural disasters could keep them from brewing awesome beer.

This sensational sipper rocked the locals with its groundbreaking force, selling out in less than two hours!

To craft it, the brewers started with the base beer for their GABF Gold-medal winning Kviek, which contains an ancient strain of Scandinavian yeast. Then, they added heaps of juicy strawberries, creamy bananas, and lactose. Each mouthwatering sip swells with the sweet, velvety mouthfeel of a strawberry-banana smoothie, then finishes with pleasant tremors of tartness.

This year, news of the re-release had fans like @amy1537 shouting, “Omg!!! You just made my day!!!” And, @Jason M. raves, “Could drink this alllllll day. So smooth, so delicious.”
