About This Beer
For Kweepeer, the brewers macerated quinces for over six months on both two- and three-year-old Lambic originating from five different barrels and seven different brews from both Lindemans and 3 Fonteinen. Then, they blended in some very young lambic for continued bottle fermentation.
Tasting Notes
A bright lemony tang opens up the sip, with delicate layers of horse blanket and wet hay just beneath the surface. Complex pome fruit tones evoke pear and apple, while whispers of apricot play against the biscuity malts before giving way to an effervescent finish.
