The Texas tastemakers at Martin House brewed the base beer for this Barrel Aged Imperial Sour with everything orange: orange juice, orange peel, orange zest, and orange purée — plus, a dose of lactose for a sweet creamsicle quality.

But, they knew it could benefit from a little maturing. So, the brewers aged Lady Marmalade in a unique blend of whiskey and cherry wood barrels for over four months!

Aging in these barrels imbued the orange-loaded Sour with distinguished notes of vanilla oak, dried red fruits, and hints of Montmorency cherry. Whiskey’s caramel-like depth comes through on the back end, transforming each taste into a classy blood orange whiskey sour ordered at a swanky speakeasy.

This limited-release brew brings star quality anywhere it goes. Lady Marmalade is already stunning audiences down in Texas, and it won’t fail to impress your friends’ palates at the next backyard barbecue either.
