About This Beer
To infuse it with layers of complex cask character, the brewers let it mature first for 16 months in Old Elk Bourbon barrels. Then they split it into Elijah Craig and Buffalo Trace Barrels for ANOTHER 14 months of aging before blending into a finishing tank.
Tasting Notes
Last Magic hasn’t been released yet, but we’re expecting all that time in oak to translate to intricate wood char, vanilla, and whiskey nuances. Meanwhile, rich dark fruit and caramel nuances should carry from start to finish, helping keep the colossal 22% ABV nice and smooth.
