What makes Letters from Zelda the smooth, crushable beer fans call “everything I want in an IPA”? It starts with the scent — waves of juicy mangoes, papayas, and pineapples waft from its cloudy pour. As you sip, the beer’s incredibly soft body drenches the palate in oranges, melons, limes, and grapefruit. 

Craft fan @John L. describes it like this: “Whole oranges. Juice, flesh, but also plenty of pith and peel too.” 

While it’s definitely juicy, those fruity elements are balanced by earthy, resinous dank and a deliciously dry-hopped finish.

Even if you were a magical goddess-princess from a cult classic video game, you’d have trouble summoning this brew from Massachusetts. Luckily, we’ve managed to conjure a small stash, so you can make crushing this Hazy your next craft quest.
