About This Beer
The New Image and Alesong team began #life Unplugged by racking the same English-style base into a variety of casks. Blend 2 spent its slumber in cognac and port-finished whiskey barrels.
Tasting Notes
The barrels infused each taste with vinous dark fruit tones and caramel flourishes. Fig Newton nuances bob through tinges of toffee and jam, while hints of oaky tannins linger on the chocolatey back end.

a bit lighter than expected in barrel flavor. figgy but not over sweet with jam. finishes nicely but doesn’t coat the palate as some others.
