A Note on This Beer
I have a lot of friends from Minnesota, and there are a few things they love talking about — snow in the winter, lakes in the summer, and BlackStack Brewing all year round.
It’s only been three years since this brewery opened, and they’ve already won the hearts of Minnesotan hopheads:
- “If I was marooned on an island and could only drink one brewery's booze, it would be BlackStack.” @King Steeze T.
- “Blackstack is making the best hazies in MN and that says a lot.” @Patrick F.
- “Dat juicy juice!” @Phil C.
When they released their Link in Bio NEIPA earlier this month, I wasn’t surprised to see BlackStack knocked this juicy hopbomb out of the park with a 4.33 UT score!
The brewers loaded this beer with a brand new hop blend called Bio-T Cryo from their buddies at Yakima Chief. It’s a mix of concentrated lupulin from whole-leaf hops — which means, it contains tons of resin and aromatic oils for insanely juicy flavor!
They also added Citra and Mosaic Hops to pack in some the citrus-tropical deliciousness!
And, to top it all off, Link in Bio is insanely smooth for its 9% ABV.
Here’s the catch — BlackStack brews rarely cross the Minnesota border. This may be your only chance to try the newest hit from the brewery Minnesotans can’t stop talking about!
*Hop Culture named BlackStack one of the 5 Best Craft Breweries in the Twin Cities!
