A Note on This Beer
The brewers at 2nd Shift describe today’s Little Big Hop as “stupid good.”
And I gotta say, I agree. It IS stupid good! Take a cooler full of to a barbecue, and you can enjoy tropically fruity, full-flavored gulps until the cows come home.
We’re just getting to know 2nd Shift, but after tasting this juicy brew, we understand why Feast Magazine called them a Must Try St. Louis Brewery! They absolutely loaded Little Big Hop with obscene amounts of Magnum, Cascade, Zythos, Simcoe, and Columbus Hops.
Take a sip, and you won’t believe it’s only 4.9% ABV. You can crush this delightful hop-juice all damn day! Bring some along to share with your buddies, and they’ll never suspect they’re drinking such a sessionable brew unless you show ‘em the can.
This stuff is so fruity-delicious that it’s got a higher BeerAdvocate rating than some of the most beloved Session IPAs out there. It even beats out Founders All Day IPA and Southern Tier’s Tangier!
Crack open the can, and get ready to ride a wave of ripe grapefruit, juicy orange, and tropical pineapple. Take a sip, and pure tropical citrus coats the entire palate. On the finish, a hint of pine resin and lemon zest balance the fruit smoothie flavors and keep things from getting too sweet.
So grab 1 or 2 or 10 cans of Little Big Hop and treat your palate to a nectarous juicebomb you can keep on drinking. And drinking, and drinking, and drinking.
