About This Beer
Little Sal is an American Wild Ale from the funky brew experts at Allagash! The brewers admit that, “after years of making wild beers without ever using Maine’s state fruit, a tiny farm in Windham, Maine, asked us to try a beer with their blueberries. The beer tasted so good that we asked to use their entire crop!” And boy, are we glad they did! This little farm supplied Allagash with lowbush blueberries — a delicacy known to have a more intense, sweet, and succulent flavor than ordinary, highbush blueberries!
Tasting Notes
Pop the top on this tart brew and bright, berry aromas cascade from the pour. Take a sip, and it coats the taste buds like a dollop of homemade jam, balanced by a puckering, grassy funk.
