About This Beer
The crew began with a blend of six specialty malts and brewed this beer with a whopping three pounds per gallon of locally-grown and wild-harvested blueberries. They fermented it in a single oak red wine barrel with pediococcus and lactobacillus, allowing it to mature into a tangy refresher with a dry, spritzy body.
Tasting Notes
Tart tastes treat the palate to pops of blueberry compote and lemon curd, while hints of dried grass and soil provide an earthy accent. Herbaceous heather nuances mingle with ripe and sour berries before it all comes to a snappy conclusion.
