About This Beer
The Westbrook crew used classic German Hops and Pilsner Malts to give this Helles its bright, earthy citrus profile. Then, they patiently leave it to cold-condition in horizontal tanks for up to 2 months.

Floral nose. Pours clear, golden w/ample head. Clean mouthfeel. Hoppy, earthy, floral & bready. Subtle grapefruit too. A nicely balanced brew. Light & easy, but plenty flavorful.

This has got to be one of the best American-made helles lagers out there. Most attempts are either too watery or lacking in the balance and refinement of the German originals. This one comes closer than any I’ve tasted.

Oh this is one tasty beer. Upon first sip, I felt it was rather hoppy, but the second sip and after? It’s just a nice, crisp delight. It’s light and bready, with a floral follow up and nice, clean finish. I wish I had opened this in broad daylight and not at night over a movie.

Great take on the style! The texture is pillowy but light, it’s delightfully floral with brighter fruit flavors. I could tell it was Halluer Hops and biscuity but not malt forwarde.

so now I officially know what they mean by bready backbone - but it was a good drink. the light sweeter notes really took a front row seat after a few drinks and I caught myself sitting in the sun and relaxing with this crisp little lager. Would definitely order again.
