A Note on This Beer

When it comes to spirits, brandy is the epitome of class and sophistication. Since early colonial days, American aristocrats have retired to their studies for a snifter of the stuff while they contemplated their railroad investments or real estate empires.

So it’s no surprise that when Luling wanted to up the ante on their beloved Imperial Stout, they decided to age it in Apple Brandy Barrels. Then, they conditioned it on toasted coconut, toasted pecans, coffee, cacao nibs, and vanilla.

Each decadent sip swirls with dark chocolate, creamy coconut, and rich toffee. The barrels impart opulent notes of woodspice, and a touch of juicy apples. It’s like drinking a swanky caramel apple that also happens to have a very welcome 11% ABV!

You’re a high-class person with exquisite taste. Your beer should reflect that. Snag a bottle and live life luxuriously!

Craft fans gave Luling (Apple Brandy) an impressive 4.27 rating on Untappd!

highly recommend serving at 55F. when too cold, the depth of flavor character gets washed out. very complex given the number of adjunct flavors this beer was conditioned on.
