Obvious craftsmanship but my anticipation was high for another fair isle brew. Loved trying the different grain and the barrel aging left nice rounded edges. The experience for me was like trying einkorn bread. I think I may have had this too chilled as well, heck I shared it outside with a few snow flakes falling. Overall good and glad I tried it.

I am really loving these Fair Isle brews. Mildly tart, dark bread notes, little caramel, funk, notes of white and red wine, and some oak tannin and vanilla. Bright carbonation without being overly carbed.

Dry, hints of apple and red currant.
