About This Beer
The 4 Hands crew began with a rich Imperial Milk Stout infused with its namesake Madagascar vanilla beans. Then they matured it in Withered Oak rye barrels that previously held ruby port and 15 year Caribbean rum.
Tasting Notes
Crème brûlée aromas lead you into a sip where each element blends seamlessly into the next. Complex nuances of the barrels, milk chocolate, and dark fruit reveal subtle oaky tannins along with hints of prune and fig. Raisinet tones fade into lingering notes of sweet spirits and floral vanilla.
