About This Beer
For Malbec Wine BA Pentuple, the Hoppin’ Frog crew took their deliciously inventive, GABF Gold-winning Pentuple, and aged it in Malbec wine barrels.
Tasting Notes
Decadent caramel with flairs of nutmeg, clove, and orange zest ebbs up front, followed by velvety pulls of raisin and char. Whispers of woody spice and resinous hops ripple throughout.

packed with Belgian flavors and the Malbec aging has a factor to play in that. Figuring

Few of these will get you drunk. The taste was ok….. but you can taste the barrel age. Really strong flavor but not my kind of beer. Maybe it’s just my taste buds that I’m not used to this beer yet.
