A Note on This Beer
Next time you’re passing through Hayden, Idaho, you gotta swing by Bombastic Brewing. Their tiny batch beers have fans driving in from all over the region. Even the Washington-based Spokesman-Review called them a “must try brewery!”
Oh, but they don’t have a taproom. So you have to email first and schedule a time to swing by the brewery. It’s in a warehouse next to a little regional airport.
What’s that? You’re not planning a road trip through Idaho anytime soon? Well, that’s unfortunate, because aside from scouring a handful of bottleshops, it’s the only way to get a taste of today’s Coffee Vanilla Malice.
You guys loved the last Imperial Stout we managed to grab from Bombastic. You snatched up every last bottle, leaving nothing behind but a 4.13 Tavour rating!
And with its 10.5% ABV, heavy dose of cold brew coffee, and heap of Indonesian vanilla, today’s release might be even better. It drinks like a vanilla foam-topped iced mocha!
You really should plan a trip to Idaho sometime — it’s a gorgeous and extremely underrated state. But until then, grab a few cans of Coffee Vanilla Malice from our little stash. It’s not at all malicious, just super delicious.
This beer is too new for ratings!
