A Note on This Beer
Impressive Ingredients: Brewed with Citra Hops for blasts of orange citrus and floral notes. Doses of mango purée and tangerine purée make for a succulently fruity dessert experience, without any lactose! Luscious Mouthfeel: Man, this summer NEIPA treat is smooooth!
Most historians agree that sorbet began as a frozen treat in the ancient empires of Persia and Rome. However, it was a delicacy reserved for sovereigns only.
Well, joke’s on them — the finest frozen desserts for ancient kings and queens couldn’t hold a candle to today’s Mango’rine Sorbet IPA from Energy City! It’s silky smooth from two different kinds of fruit purée, plus the brewers coax out waves of citrus flavors from the hops.
You don’t need a crown to enjoy this juicebomb, but sipping down its fruity richness while lounging outdoors will have you feeling pretty regal, nonetheless!
Even the finer folks on the ancient Mediterranean didn’t have access to this kind of juicy complexity (citrus, as it turns out, was super rare, and nobody knew what the heck a tangerine was!).
If you do happen to have a crown, you’ll want to take it off before you start drinking to avoid any mess. The Energy City brewers waited until after fermentation to add the purées, making for a cold treat you’ll want to keep greedily slurping down until not a drop remains!
