About This Beer
Marzen is the lighter version of Heater Allen’s seasonal Bobtoberfest. Unlike Bobtoberfest, they release Marzen a few times a year because it’s great for any season, and it's incredibly food friendly. It goes with a summer salad as well as it does with a cozy bowl of homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese!
Tasting Notes
Every sip of Heater Allen’s expertly-crafted Marzen is crisp, malt-forward, and tastes like a fresh-out-of-the-oven biscuit.

Can says Marzen and Vienna style lager...confusing. Not a bad beer, but lacks the rich melanoiden flavors I associate with a marzen. Crushable and balanced, earthy hops and toasty malts. Clean crisp honey notes.

Crisp, clear, clean, proper acidity. Delicious malt. No head, no lacing. Watery on the finish. Good smell thou.

Lovely bright color, very subtle aroma. Light, smooth and soft, mildly malty with almost a woodsy finish. Very good.

Light and crisp; finishing with a buttermilk biscuit taste. Very easy to drink. Very tasteful. Overall a pretty good Marzen.

Malty, smooth, biscuity. This is a great, refined beer that I thoroughly enjoyed and convinced me to purchase Heater Allen in the future
