About This Beer
The brewers started by maturing a decadent base in Westward and Westland Whiskey Barrels, letting it soak up plenty of sophisticated cask character. And then they hit it with vanilla, cacao nibs, dates, and almonds to wrap it all up in desserty deliciousness!
Tasting Notes
Look forward to intricate layers of dark chocolate and caramel-covered dark fruit swirling alongside marzipan nuances. Roasty malts should hold it all together, before giving way to subtle hints of whiskey and vanilla-oak. And if past releases are any indication, the 14% ABV should go down ridiculously smooth!

a nice thick beer. Definitely taste the cacao. Fort George never misses.
