About This Beer
This time around, the crew let their base Stout age for 18 months in ultra-exclusive, award-winning W.L. Weller 12-year wheated bourbon barrels. Even the brewers themselves thought the exquisite casks were “unobtainable” until they actually managed to get a hold of them!
Tasting Notes
Look forward to rich notes of artisanal toffee and milk chocolate cascading over a roasty malty backbone. Dark fruit, espresso, and toasted pecan nuances ripple underneath. And, of course, expect those rare barrels to impart sublime hints of wood char, vanilla, and whiskey to the velvety finish.
