The music-obsessed brewers at SingleCut created Mellifluous Life IPA back in 2018 as an homage to Phish — the legendary jam band that hippies follow around the country in lieu of being employed. 

Mellifluous means ‘sweetly musical,’ — Just like a Phish's tunes — which is a spot-on description of this IPA! 

A bobbing beat of fresh-squeezed OJ and dank honeydew melon flavor weaves through every sip, while notes of nectarine and peach wail like a Trey Anastasio guitar solo. A hint of resin on the finish serves as a balancing bassline.

The SingleCut crew isn’t saying what hops they used, just that they’re “all hand selected buds from our favorite growers in the Pacific Northwest.” And, it tastes like they squeezed every drop of juice out of them! Those Hazy skills are why, as the New York Times notes, “customers are trekking to this microbrewery in Queens!”
