Tasting Notes
Mexican Cake delivers the flavors of a chili-spiced, chocolate-dipped churro, and drenches them in a bold 10.5% ABV. Cocoa, cinnamon, and mild chili on the nose give way to deep layers of rich chocolate on the palate. Vanilla and roasted coffee play against a whisper of habanero heat and even more cinnamon, with mild, lingering spice on the finish.

good, but not as good as I remember earlier batches

Thin mouthfeel. Chili and spice overpower the base stout. Not a fan.

Top-notch stout. The heat is dialed up nicely but not overbearing. Smooth chocolate throughout and balanced by spice.

There’s potential, but not enough balance to the flavors. It goes hard on the habanero heat, but the sweetness doesn’t compensate enough, so it just tastes like a spicy coffee

Loads of cinnamon. Definitely on the spicy side, but a nice kind of heat. It’s a pretty boozy imperial for being 10.5 % ABV. Overall a nice Tavour purchase.
