About This Beer
Partnered with their dark beer-loving buddies at 3 Sons, the pioneers at Untitled Art swung for the dessert fences with today’s Pastry Stout. And it’s good it’s a collab, because they needed the extra set of hands for all these gooey additions! We’re talking macadamia nuts, cacao nib, cinnamon, vanilla bean, sea salt, brownie batter, brown sugar, milk sugar… whew!
Tasting Notes
The fluffy tastes of freshly-baked, salted caramel fudge brownies delight the palate at each delicious chomp – erm, sip. Bold, bittersweet flavors of cacao, and a touch of creamy, smooth vanilla drizzled over nutty macadamia round out the taste, like a vanilla-dunked and double-baked choco-chunk cookie.

Absolutely delicious. Nicely balanced. Like having a smore cooked over a campfire. Chocolate and cinnamon. Beautifully done

A bit sweet up front. As it warmed up, you really got the nose and taste of brownies. Give this one 30 minutes and it’s a solid stout

I usually dig Untitled Art’s brew, but not this one. There’s a funky almond like taste.

Unbelievably delicious! Tastes exactly like a hot chocolate fudge brownie. A bit carbonated when you first sip, but then you get the creaminess and chocolate, cinnamon, milk, etc. Could have been thin but is surprisingly layered. Pretty much perfect!

Like dessert in a can. Very tasty stout with a full body flavor, notes of chocolate give the back end a satisfying finish.

Kind of a weird marzipan taste dominating the flavor. I can’t decide if I like it.
