About This Beer
This brew is an ESB, or Extra Special Bitter, something we rarely see on the app. Despite “bitter” being in the name, the style is actually a balancing act between sweet malt with pronounced fruity esters and delicate hop bitterness.

Golden raisin and toffee malt notes flow into toasted biscuit flavors topped with orange marmalade and drizzled with lush honey accents. Cascade, Magnum, and East Kent Golding herbal hop notes sweep through for a smooth, light Ale with a crisp, semi-dry finish.

The aroma reminds me of honey and peanut butter on warm rye or dark toast, with flavors to match. The body is crisp, and strikes a perfect balance between bitterness, dryness, and sweet malt. An incredible ESB, with an equally memorable name and art!
