About This Beer
The brewers started by blending Stout aged 24 and 29 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. And they hit it with additions of hazelnut and cocoa, creating rich flavors that beautifully complement the sublime cask character.
Tasting Notes
Notes of bittersweet baking chocolate, ribbons of Nutella, and a touch of caramel accentuate the roasty backbone. Dark fruit nuances lead to layers of tannic oak and whiskey, leaving little hint of the 14% ABV on the finish.
