I’ve always been jealous of SpongeBob SquarePants. 

Not only because he can eat an endless supply of Krabby Patties (a.k.a. The World’s BEST Cheeseburgers), but he also lives in a freakin’ PINEAPPLE under the sea! 

Just picture what that must be like; Every day, you unwind with the luscious aromas of the juicy tropical fruit in your own home. I bet he even gets to lick the walls and they taste like sweet, delicious Pina Coladas.

Us landlubbers are finally getting a taste of your luxuriously tropical life with today’s Milkshake Nawi Pineapple IPA! 

It hails from Energy City Brewing, and these Illinois-based brewers are what us human folk call “the Masters of Milkshakes.” 

With a higher brewery UT-rating than many adorned IPA makers, including Modern Times, Grimm, and even Tired Hands, we’ll see who's jealous of who when I’m indulging in this 7.2% ABV hopbomb and you’re stuck 1,000 leagues under the sea with no craft beer. 

Plus, I guarantee Milkshake Nawi Pineapple tastes wayyyy better than licking the walls of a fruit-carved house (my guess is that’s not very sanitary, anyways). 

Especially because the brewers packed today’s brew with real pineapple puree, alongside a healthy dose of lactose and vanilla beans! 

These fresh ingredients, combined with Galaxy and Vic Secret Hops, make each sip roll on the tongue like a vibrant wave of fresh tropical juice. Taste after taste, I’m transported to a remote beach where I’m drinking a fresh-pressed smoothie during sunset. 

Oh, you don’t know what sunsets look like because you’re in the ocean, SpongeBob? That’s a shame. 

You know what else is a shame? Not getting to taste today’s limited-release brew, because Energy City only made 250 cases!
