About This Beer
In honor of the founder’s 44th Birthday, Mikerphone blended some of their best Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and conditioned it all on an insane amount of toasted coconut, cocoa nibs, and roasted peanuts. So much, in fact, that after aging 130 gallons (3 barrels worth of beer) on those adjuncts, they only netted 90 gallons.
Tasting Notes
It may have soaked up massive amounts of liquid, but it left TONS of flavor. Massive notes of Mounds bar decadence swirl alongside nutty brownie nuances. Rich caramel tones play against the malt character, leading to exquisite hints of oaky vanilla and whiskey on the smooth finish.
