A Note on This Beer
Just in time for Oktoberfest, it doesn’t get any more German than MORE UMLAUT Pilsner!
Without going to Deutschland, that is.
The true-to-style experts at Stellwagen crafted this German Pils “as traditional as can be.” It’s crisp and refreshing with honey-drizzled toast notes and a hint of Noble Hop fruitiness.
One problem with many Oktoberfest beers is they’re too heavy to drink more than one boot-full. That’s no issue with this crushable Pils.
How many boots of beer will you conquer this year? For me, it depends on how many giant pretzels I put down, and how many MORE UMLAUTs I can snag.

It's a pils... Nothing extraordinary

I wish other breweries would brew pilsners the way Stellwagen does based on this. So crisp and smooth, and the can was one of the fuller cans I’ve ever purchased which meant I had even more delicious liquid to enjoy.

On the hoppy side, with pronounced citrus notes and assertive bitterness. Not terrible, but not my kind of pilsner.

There is never been a more generic pilsner tasting beer as this one
