Today’s Imperial Stout goes out to like-minded folk, ready to fight a cold night with a stylish, midnight-hued brew and a trusty cardigan.

Beer Tree whipped up today’s 4.22 UT-rated, 9% ABV sipper with wood fire-evaporated maple syrup and real, juicy blueberries to build a complex tapestry of rich decadence. A touch of dark roast coffee tempers the sweetness and rounds out each warming sip.

This is a coffee stout and nothing more. There is no blueberry flavor at all. Try Ellicottsville blueberry maple pancake ale and you will see what this is described as tasting like.

Delicious roast is a perfect compliment to the maple, blueberry begins to creep in as it settles.

The roasted coffee comes through strongly, but is dialed back by the maple. Blueberry is present, but more on the side of the breakfast plate rather than piled on. Quite tasty.

The blueberry was faint and over powered by the traditional taste of a stout. However, I think this could be a grand slam with a more blueberry taste on the front end.

Nice solid smooth stout with balanced coffee and chocolate flavors and a hint of blueberry. Not the most deep or exciting but very drinkable. I don’t get any maple or vanilla.

Absolutely delicious, and dangerously drinkable! Neither too thick nor sweet, but the perfect balance of cocoa, maple, and berry; exactly like a stack of blueberry pancakes drizzled with syrup and chocolate sauce. Breakfast lovers will approve.

kinda odd combo but a decent amount of blueberries, wished it would have been more coffee or chocolate to balance the fruitiness.
