A Note on This Beer
There’s something about a late Winter hike through the mountains with a good friend, your dog, and a crisp Northwest IPA. As the snow melts, aromas from newly sprouting flowers fill the air, delivering their promise of an epic Spring on its way. Seattle’s Fremont Brewing has wrangled all those fresh mountain flavors and vibes into their new Mountain Daisy IPA.
With medals by the caseful including a GABF in the IPA field, Fremont is known for their hop-enriched brews throughout the Northwest. They bring this expertise into their new spring series elevated by today’s invigorating brew.
Be sure to stretch before taking on Mountain Daisy. Its citrus and floral aromas waft into the nose with authority. Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial, and Citra Hops traverse the palate with juicy dank mango, dabs of wild honey, and sweetart ruby red grapefruit notes. Its finish has a refreshingly resinous bite that encourages you to drink on.
The short window to experience Mountain Daisy IPA opens and shuts within a few weeks in February, just like the mountain country’s transition into Spring. It’s now or never my friends, seize the dank.
