About This Beer
When Paste Mag tried River North’s OG Mr. Sandman in their blind Imperial Stout taste test, it beat out 102 other beers. That’s mighty impressive! To this day, the classic Mr. Sandman continues to delight the palates of dark beer lovers across the country.
Tasting Notes
Each sip dances across the palate with notes of raspberry and cherry that intermingled gently with flavors of dark, bittersweet baker’s chocolate. A drying roastiness and molasses-like caramelization comes through on the finish.

This was tasty. Some unique notes for an imperial. I’ve had better River North’s, but this was still a solid option.
