About This Beer
To craft MRE: Menu 05 Canadian Cake, the Forgotten Road crew started with a rich Stout base before layering it with cocoa nibs, cinnamon, and vanilla beans for a fudgy, cake-like flavor. Then they took it north with rich maple syrup and they hit it with habanero for flares of spice.
Tasting Notes
Look for sumptuous chocolate and maple aromas to rise out of every thick, indulgent pour. The taste should follow, with velvety mocha tones swirling alongside a sticky sweetness and smooth creme anglaise notes, leaving no trace of the 13% ABV. Hints of baking spice ought to lead into a measured heat on the end that builds as you sip.
