A Note on This Beer
Ask any brewer. Canning day feels like a marathon.
Still, the brewmasters at Austin Brothers figured out the secret to staying motivated when things get crazy busy.
They turn to the foot-tappin’ power of country music!
In fact, when Austin Brothers team member Chris Heikkuri is working, you’re guaranteed to hear a little Merle Haggard echoing from the back.
“I’ll be working long as my two hands are fit to use,
I’ll drink my little beer in a tavern,
Sing a little bit of these working man blues!”
The brewers took inspiration from Merle Haggard to create an IPA juicy enough to quench their post canning thirst: The Murking Man Blues!
They dry-hopped it with massive amounts of Vic Secret, Moteuka, and Wai-iti Hops, sourced from Australia and New Zealand, until this beer bursts with notes of succulent florals, and fresh pine.
Murking Man fan @Joe G says, “the Austin Bros have discovered the perfect hop bouquet to pair with their signature cakey creamy marshmallow grain bill!”
So, if you like your IPAs thick and creamy, hurry up and snag a few cans alongside Joe! The brewery’s fans already know — this brew is just as captivating as a classic country tune!
