A Note on This Beer
IPA juice-heads get amped when they see a double dry-hopped brew because they know it’ll be big on flavor. Woodland Empire adds another level of juiciness by triple dry-hopping My 85th Rodeo IPA. This citrus, cedar sipper is so luscious that the brewer himself says it’s “like walking into the woods and drinking a smoothie.”
The addition of four hop varieties create a juicy rainforest of tropical flavors:
- Idaho 7 Hops sit like a freshly-scooped spoonful of papaya dunked in orange juice.
- Vic Secret Hops up the tropical essences with a pineapple punch that weaves in notes of pine.
- Comet Hops give this IPA a mildly drying, mildly sweet effect of chewing on a grapefruit peel to indulge in every last bit of flavor.
- Hallertau Hops provide a “noble” bitter effect that tastes like finely-crushed white pepper sprinkled over slices of mango.
Woodland Empire makes it rain earthy, tropical flavors with a triple-hopped IPA. This complex hop combo proves that My 85th Rodeo ain’t their first rodeo.
*To highlight this beer’s fragrance and flavors, we suggest serving at 48-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
