About This Beer
New Image set out to explore the caramelly continuum from Doppelbock to Barleywine and came up with today's banger.
Nacht-Tober has the bold complexity of the stronger style paired with the drinkability of the Doppel. They're calling it a “Doppel Oktoberfest, aka Munichwine,” and this beauty began with a rich base of long-boiled Colorado-grown Troubadours Blue malt. The crew hopped it with a dash of Hallertau Mittelfrüh for balancing noble nuances and fermented it cold for six weeks.
Tasting Notes
This 10.5% ABV behemoth overflows with big, malty flavors. Each heady swig swirls with notes of toffee, toast, and dark fruit while the medium body keeps the sweet, boozy depths feeling clean all the way through a crisp finish.
