About This Beer
Sometimes less is more. But more is ALWAYS more. The lupulin lords at Pipeworks get it. They’ve packed a whopping five pounds of hops per barrel into Ninja vs. Unicorn!
While I like imagining a Ninja Turtles/My Little Ponies crossover as much as the next ‘80s kid, there’s enough Citra and Simcoe flavor in this can to satisfy every IPA stan — no need for fisticuffs!
Tasting Notes
Fruit ninjas will love slicing their katanas through notes of ripe pineapple, tangy grapefruit, and bright tangerine. As the juices drip from the blade and into the brew, unicorns will look on peacefully as they graze upon the dank, grassy flavor.

Simcoe wins in this one. Not mad about it. IPAs don't always have to be tropical and citrus

Pretty standard IPA. Best thing is the can art.

Finally! A DIPA that’s old school west coast style with citrus and piney hops. Drinks more like a standard IPA though. Not intensely bitter. Medium+ body. Smooth. Great label!

We have had this one before in and so glad we got it when it became available on Tavour. The flavor profile is very smooth for an imperial IPA. Dangerously crushable. Will keep getting this as I see it available.

just a good, clean, non-hazy.

It couldn’t decide who won, the Ninja, or the Unicorn, so it kind of felt lost between the two. It should’ve been named Ninjacorn, or Uninja, because it felt like neither won — and we lost. Meh!
