About This Beer
For this Lager lover’s dream, the Elder Pine crew whirlpool and dry hopped exclusively with new American hop, Contessa. But, unlike previous iterations, the EP crew also used the newly released, ultra-concentrated Contessa Cryo for an even more pronounced flavor.
Tasting Notes
Lush pear aromas brim out of every golden pour. The taste follows with ripe pear and delicate green tea leading to a fresh baked bread note so crisp, you can practically hear it crackle. It all culminates in a dry, snappy finish.

A very elegant lager, with a noble hop flavor that is delicate and elegant and not too bitter or too brash. My one quibble is the bitter finish so common in oat lagers – what do oats add to lagers other than a bad aftertaste?
