A Note on This Beer
You know Noble Hops — Europeans grow those slightly spicy, floral varieties for crisp, flavorful Pilsners — but have you heard of American Noble Hops?
If you’re shaking your head, you’re not alone. Just a few years ago, Yakima-based YCH Hops introduced stateside varieties designed to share qualities with traditional Euro Noble Hops. But, these hops are still a rare sight in modern beer. On most days, you could probably tour your local bottle shops and not find a single offering with them.
Which makes today’s Noble Crisp a must-try. Nashville’s Southern Grist dry-hopped this special Pils with Loral American Noble Hops!
Every sip is a delicious blend of old and new world flavors! The hops boast plenty of delightful herbal, peppery, and floral notes. However, they also bring zings of lemon-citrus and juicy berry character that make the beer both complex and downright quenching.
The brewers left Noble Crisp unfiltered too, making the fruit flavors even more pronounced, yet still effortlessly drinkable in the light Pilsner body.
If you want a taste, you’ll have to grab it quick! We have less than 20 cases to go around, and early tasters like @Cory K. already declare Noble Crisp “One of the best Pilsners I’ve ever had!”
Forbes calls Southern Grist one of the American South’s Best Craft Breweries!
