About This Beer
It starts with the famed Medianoche base, then is aged for 30-32 months in 16-year Thomas H. Handy Rye barrels and 18-year Sazerac Rye barrels. Plus they added Papua New Guinea Tahitensis vanilla beans, Kenyan coffee beans, and raw and toasted coconut to play up the exquisite cask character.
Tasting Notes
It’s boasting intricate layers of caramel and oaky vanilla, with ribbons of mocha, brown sugar, and coconut cream underneath. And the only hint of bold 15.6% ABV is the whisper of whiskey on the finish.
