A Note on This Beer
I’m always trying to convince my buddy, Brian, to try IPAs. He prefers sweeter, smoother flavors, and bitter hops just ain’t his thang.
So today, I gave him a can of Oat Cream IPA. Once he got a taste of that luxuriously soft mouthfeel and waves of juicy tangerines, creamy coconuts, and tangy limes (all from the hops), his eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store!
That’s because, in addition to a fruitalicious hop bill of Citra, Mosaic, Sabro, and Wakatu Hops, the brewers packed Oat Cream IPA with a boatload of flaked and malted oats! As a result, the bitterness is almost nonexistent.
It caused Brian to dreamily muse, “My taste buds feel like they’re floating on a cloud!”
Brian isn’t the only one whose taste buds are buoyantly floating:
- “So tasty! A hazy citrus IPA that has the texture of silk.” @Bryan D.
- “Awesome can art, awesome collab, delicious and creamy.” @Erik W.
- “Ultra tasty new style” @Jesse S.
That’s the kind of hazy magic you get when two Wisconsin powerhouses combine their skills. Oat Cream IPA comes from the collab kings at Untitled Art and their adventurous, environmentally conscious buddies at Humble Forager!
