About This Beer
Fritz Rahr started Rahr & Sons to inject a little quality craft into Fort Worth’s beer scene — and this incredible Märzen is one of their best, earning the brewery three GABF medals, a European Beer Star and a ton of fans.
Tasting Notes
Rahr & Sons crafted this brew in the traditional style, layering each amber pour of Oktoberfest with rich malt, giving it nuances of caramelized sweetness and toasted bread. A whisper of wildflowers and peppery spice from the Noble Hops round out its smooth and balanced finish.

hands down best Oktoberfest I’ve ever had in my life the barrel age they have to is soo mouthgasmically good just like this one and the caramelization to it’s not too strong or too little it’s perfect and you taste it perfectly in there

Strong caramel malt, light herbal hop, full bodied, little bitterness. Almost akin to something between a Fruh bock and a doublebock.

Malty, good Octoberfest.

Toasted malt with light hop bite to balance. Average body. Not bad, but their Barrelfest is so much better.
